Introducing
ROAD RUNNING
The road running section at Biggleswade Athletic Club welcomes runners of all abilities; whether you are a jogger looking for a running partner or an experienced runner looking for competition. You may want to take part in races or simply run for fitness and fun. Whatever your reason, we'll be pleased to meet you.
Our road running training schedule (via the club calendar) ensures there is a range of different training levels available; whether it is hill training, speedwork or general running. Split groups based on ability ensure everyone has an enjoyable and worthwhile evening.
Introducing
CROSS COUNTRY
Cross Country events are held typically between October and March and take place on a Saturday or Sunday (depending on the league or match). Dates and locations can be found using our club calendar or clicking on the relevant league websites (links via the Community page).
Distances vary from 4 miles to 6 miles depending on the league or match and are only approximate. It is your finishing position that is recorded, not your time, to determine your individual and overall club standing.
Cross Country is a great alternative to all those summer months running on road. Many club members take part and it is a great team event. Come and have a go!
