BAC individual track & field champions for 2025
Biggleswade AC athletes racked up an impressive list of individual achievements during our recent 2025 Club Track & Field Championships held in conjunction with the Biggleswade Open meeting at our Sandy track on Saturday September 27.
In addition to the three new club records previously reported on October 3 (Oran Blake, U-17M discus; Sandra Ingham, V-65W discus; and Natalie Morgan, V-45W 5000m), the meeting saw over 30 members win club individual track and field event titles and 20 achieve PBs.
Particular congratulations go to Nathan Cornwall, Nathania Lewis, Oran Blake, Orlagh Brunning, Ryan Kennerley and Sandra Ingham – a group ranging in age from U-11 to V-65 – who each claimed a hat-trick of titles.
Another highlight was the participation of 14 BAC U-11 members across the four events (75m, 600m, long jump and howler) included in the meeting programme for that age group. Several won club titles for 2025 and many notched up PBs. At the other end of the age scale, it was also great to see a number of the club’s senior/veteran road and cross country runners competing in track events and winning several titles between them.
