Club Turns Out for Teagan
The regular club training night on Tuesday 2nd November was replaced with our Run/Walk for Teagan event, with a fantastic turn-out by club members, visitors and supporters alike.
16-year old club member, Teagan Blake, is battling cancer and the club came out in force for a sponsored run or walk of our athletic track to raise funds for Teagan. Alongside the main event was a cake and cookie stall where our runners could top up on energy after their run.
The event was enjoyed by all, despite the chilly weather. The repeat event on Thursday 4th November was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute due to a fire at the local industrial unit, but organisers hope to reschedule the event of Thursday 11th November.
