Bedfordshire County XC Championships – Biggleswade AC entry details

Full details of the 2025/26 season Bedfordshire AAA County Cross Country Championships − being hosted by Biggleswade AC − have now been published.
The event, which as usual will be combined with the Buckinghamshire AA County XC Championships, will be held at
Southill Park, Bedfordshire, on Saturday January 3 − presenting a great opportunity to burn off excess Christmas calories and kick-start the new year!
There will be championship races for all age groups from U-13s up to Veterans, with medals awarded to the top three individuals and teams in each category.
There will also be non-championship races for U-11s.

For full details of the event, go to the Bedfordshire AAA website: http://bedfordshireaaa.org.uk/Beds%20AAA%20Website/bedsaaa/XC/index.html

The top three individuals in each race will also secure automatic selection for the relevant Bedfordshire gender/age group teams which compete in the 2026 UK CAU Inter Counties XC Championships in Nottingham on Saturday March 7.

With each of those teams comprising up to eight runners, some BAC runners who finish outside the top three in the County Championships should also be in with a chance of securing selection for the Inter Counties event.
ENTRY DETAILS: BAC entries for the Beds County Championships will be submitted through the club rather than by individuals.
BAC Chair Mandie is co-ordinating our entries so if you would like to take part, please contact her by December 20 so she can add your name to the list in time to meet the championships entry deadline at the end of December. Please provide her with your NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, FULL POSTAL ADDRESS and UKA NUMBER if known.

ENTRY RULES: To qualify for entry, runners must live in − or have been born in − Bedfordshire. Runners can only enter one county XC championships. Someone born in Cambridgeshire but living in Sandy, for example, can choose either county championships to run in but cannot do both.
