Ross throws javelin PB at U-13 Inter-County meeting
Congratulations to BAC junior Ross Bone who threw a PB of 29.99m in the boys’ javelin event at the Derek Crookes Under-13 Inter-County track and field meeting held at the Xcel Sports Hub in Walton-on-Thames on Sunday August 4.
That throw enabled Ross, BAC’s only representative in the Bedfordshire team, to finish 6th of the 12 athletes in the boys A competition. He also had a no-throw, due to fouling the foot line, which it was reckoned could have been several metres longer.
Ross gained further points for Bedfordshire, who were competing against teams from 12 other counties across southern England, by running in the 800m B string race.
