Teddy smashes his 5K Parkrun PB!
Biggleswade AC U-11 athlete Teddy Warren slashed 46 seconds off his PB for the Millennium Country Parkrun, Forest of Marston Vale, when he took part in the Saturday December 27 running of that event.
He finished the 5K course in 68th place out of almost 300 runners of all ages − veterans, seniors and juniors − in a time of 24:48. He was also the first JM10 runner home. The previous time Teddy ran that event, in May, his time was 25:34. Since then he has taken part in a number of 2K Bedford Junior Parkruns where he currently has a PB of 8:22.
